  • Sorry to say if you are gay and can adopt then you can afford to live without those breaks. Adopting is not easy or cheap so I will never feel sorry for anyone, especially gays who can accomplish that.

  • Kathleen, I agree. That is exactly what is happening. Gas prices in 1991 were at what $.99? Today they are at $3.00. Now it has been a while since high school or college math but that, at least to me, seems like more than 18%.

  • Before a candidate gets secret service support, the request goes before a board. The board examines all of the reasons why the candidate is requesting such support and makes a ruling. This board felt that there was enough threat to Obama's life to allow him secret service.

  • I don't care what happened either. What I do care about is that the Republicans run on the "family value" platform. They are the first to stand up and scream about anything that is against their biblical laws. But, that's only for the little people I guess.

  • Fear.... that is what everything is based on in Christianity. You are nothing but sheep that are scared into behaving the way you are told to behave. If my neighbors are gay and I don't speak the word of God to them it's like me condoning it and I'll be displeasing God
